Women’s History Month is a great chance for students to learn about more under-rated women in the past including Marie Curie, Ada Lovelace and Rosalind Franklin as well as more known ones such as Rosa Parks, Queen Victoria and Amelia Earhart. This lesson looks at 20 different women and their impact on different areas such as maths, health, science and improving the lives of others. You can choose to look at all 20 women in pairs/small groups or adapt the lesson to suit your students. All our lessons are fully editable. This Nazi Germany lesson investigates the actions of opposition peoples/groups such as the military, Jewish people, Catholics and Protestants. This download includes a fully editable powerpoint with all activities, instructions, clip links and worksheets/information sheets you need. It is differentiated 2/3 ways where possible with scaffolding and challenge options and is fully planned with plenty of activities for your students to complete including a starter, all clips and related tasks, mini plenaries, group talking activity, two exam style questions to choose from depending on your time available and two plenaries. Activities are planned to encourage thinking and discussion.
