All of the above is detailed on a hand-out for students using a variety of historical books and historians views! This lesson also looks at primary and secondary sources for the causes and nature of Pilgrimage of Grace to create a well-rounded skills lesson. Finally there is a PRACTICE EXAM QUESTION on the seriousness of the Pilgrimage of Grace; Evaluate the interpretations in both of the two passages and explain which you think is more convincing as an explanation of the seriousness of the Pilgrimage of Grace. A very clever quiz packed full of retrieval. Blame Game - who was to blame for the rebellion? Looks at the violence of the rebels and if they were provoked by the government!
