Poem Presentation The 21 slide presentation is organised with each verse on a different slide. The parts and verses are numbered. Two versions have been provided: one without a glossary, useful for first readings; and one with images or definitions of challenging vocabulary displayed at the bottom of each slide. Glossary A two-page Word/PDF document of words used in the poem, with word class, meanings and images. Sorting Activity The key events sorting activity can be completed individually, in pairs or, ideally, in small groups. This will help pupils to understand the storyline of this narrative poem.
