This lesson is one of a series (scheme of work) to teach Introduction to Motivation. This lesson has been especially designed for GCSE Business Studies. ⠀ This lesson is intended to introduce motivation as a concept (benefits of having motivated and consequences of having demotivated staff) and then introduces Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. This lesson / resource is about Business Size with the following learning objectives and been designed for GCSE: Learning objectives/Outcomes: Know how to measure Business Size Number of employees Sales revenue Capital employed Market share Number of outlets Value of the business Understand there are many ways to measure business size and know how to choose the best comparison Know how to assess and compare different businesses in terms of size This download includes: A full lesson PowerPoint Student Sheets with the 6 methods to measure business size Top Trumps Activity / Ranking Task in case internet access is not available Research Task (Internet Access is required for this task) Revision of Enterprise and Entrepreneurship skills (preveious lesson) All necessary resources to run the lesson are included in this download and all my lessons are for a double lesson i.e. to take around 1hour and fifty minutes so they can be separated into two single lessons if required. The aim of all my resources is to provide lessons / activities of good quality that will add value to your lessons / schemes of work without any extra planning. All activities and resources have been used in class and any errors will be fixed and resources updated as soon as I am aware of any errors.
