Their task is to fill in the jigsaw piece with things that represent their identity. Think of it as a Coat of Arms: which is a symbolic representation of an individual’s identity and values. They can add things in such as their hobbies, family, friends, pets, favourite books, TV shows, football teams or future goals.

2X tasks complete with answer sheets. This can be a primary / secondary school activity. Learners are asked to match the flag with the correct sexuality / gender identity. You can extend this activity by asking your learners to look up the meaning of each word.

2X Pride themed word searches.

Get your learners to create their own Pride themed word search. **Instructions: ** The learner will think of 12 words that are associated with Pride. They will write these words in the grid boxes and on the lines below the grid. Following this, the learner will then fill the remaining grid boxes with random letters of the alphabet. Get your learners to swap their completed word search with a peer, who will then complete it.

A fun game! When the Teacher says “Go,” the learners fill in the blanks with words that begin with the same letter. When they have finished they will shout “Pride!” Each answer is worth one point!

iNSTRUCTIONS: Divide players into teams. Each team has sixty seconds to memorise all of the items in the box below. Players are not permitted to take a photo of the game sheet or to write any of the objects down on paper at this stage of the game. After the allocated time is up, the players will be asked to turn over their game sheets. They will then have three minutes to write down, from memory, every item that appears in the box below.
