Winners from across the UK
The Tes Fe Awards winners, including representatives from all four UK nations, were chosen by a group of expert judges after the shortlist was announced at the Association of Colleges annual conference last November.
More than 250 entries were submitted for the Tes FE Awards – an increase on the number of applications received for these categories in 2018.
The eight AoC Beacon Awards winners, also announced tonight, were chosen by a group of expert assessors. This year is the first year the Beacon Awards ceremony has been hosted by the Tes FE Awards. The AoC received 220 applications from colleges for the Beacon Awards – almost double the entries submitted last year.
The Tes FE Awards 2019 ceremony took place at the Grosvenor House hotel in London’s Park Lane.
Stephen Exley, Tes' FE editor, said: "Congratulations to all of our winners. This year's shortlist was incredibly strong. The Tes FE Awards serve as a timely reminder of the brilliant and innovative work the further education sector does day in, day out."
