In this week’s episode of the Tes FE podcast, Mark Dawe, chief executive of the Association of Employment and Learning Providers (AELP), shares his concerns about apprenticeship end-point assessments with Tes columnist and podcast host Sarah Simons.

AELP has long warned that the process of introducing EPA’s was “back to front” and disadvantages current apprentices.

The latest figures from the Department for Education, released earlier this month, show that of the 325 apprenticeship standards currently approved for delivery, 89 still do not have an end-point assessment organisation in place.
