I agree with G Heys, but I do not feel demoralised. I know that I and most of my primary colleagues work hard, conscientiously and with good humour: we enjoy the company of children and are still excited when a lesson goes well. We continue to teach in the sure knowledge that what we do is important and not peripheral: the numerous criticisms have lost their sting.
