A grammar exercise (30 in total) per every single textbook topic (30 topics in total), covering the grammar points that come up in each topic. Answers at the end of the booklet. Perfect revision resource to do with year 11s before they go on study leave.

Unit 3.1 from Mira express 1 with a variety of activities

Lesson I created specifically to get my GCSE students to be able to write and talk about an ideal holiday using the conditional form of verbs, but that could be used with any able year group. Materials included: a detailed lesson plan, ppt presentation with grammar activities + activities to cover all 4 skills plus a pdf differentiated booklet I created to give to the students to help themselves build their language according to their ability.

This resource includes a 35 slide ppt presentation I prepared to teach the new Edexcel International GCSE 9-1. What’s included: resources for Unit 4B: “School rules and pressures". This ppt touches on school rules (se debe, se puede, no se debe) and a bit at the end of school uniform basics: describing what you wear, what you think of it, talking about advantages and disadvantages of the uniform. This resource includes a 26-slide ppt presentation I prepared to teach the new Edexcel International GCSE 9-1 for my Year 4 (10) group. As the textbook isn’t great, I created many extra resources to combine with working on the textbook. What’s included: resources for Unit 3: The world around us, which at the same time includes activities for section: 3H Travel and transport --> subsections 3H.1 and 3H.2 are included, and a few bits on 3H.3 because I skipped most of it due to its difficulty. A ppt which covers the relevant language to teach Module 1.3 Cartelera de cine from the Viva 3 rojo textbook. You will find relevant vocabulary for students to be able to talk about types of movies and give an opinion on them using a range of adjectives the textbook doesn’t provide. The near future tense is recapped with a few activities and there are opportunities to use it verbally and in writing in the wrap-up paragraph at the end of the unit. Ppt contains vocab sheets if you print these for your ss; vocab tests and activities to put all skills into practice, as well as a range of starter activities. Check out the bottom notes on each slide - often you will find instructions to tasks.

A straightforward ppt which covers the relevant language to teach Module 3.3 Que hay en tu insti? from the Viva 1 textbook. Ppt introduces school facilities and recaps basic adjectives to describe these. There are a number of activities included to practise the 4 skills. At the end of the ppt you will find a vocab test and a couple of starter activities on the topic. Check out the bottom notes on each slide - you will often find instructions to tasks.

A very simple lesson containing 5 mini-activities to do in pairs based around 2 TV guides to exploit this type of authentic text. It’s highly based on the textbook but extending it. It also includes a British TV guide example to work on speaking. As this is done towards the end of the module, I’ve included 2 noughts and crosses sheets for students to do in pairs and thus review vocabulary from module 2.3 Prefiero las comedias. PPT contains a total of 8 slides (1 of them being the answer sheet to the noughts and crosses game).

This 30-slide resource includes extra materials to accompany the textbook to teach topic 6.3 el patrimonio musical y su diversidad. You can see what type of activities are included in the preview of the resource (main focus is on flamenco and the imperfect of subjunctive). Look at the notes at the bottom of each slide for answers to activities and instructions. This bundle includes the introduction of the imperfect subjunctive with a bunch of activities to go with it. Ideal if you have recently taught the present and perfect subjunctive and want to take it further.

Mira 3 rojo - Module 4.1 Mi dinero from Unit 4 “Ganarse la vida”. A 33-slide ppt that includes: a range of varied activities created to support the textbook, 2 vocabulary tests, an extended reading activity. Tasks are made to challenge students of high ability. Look at the bottom notes of each slide, sometimes you’ll find info about tasks.

55 slides with the introduction of the present, perfect and imperfect of subjunctive, suitable for A-level students. This resource includes all you need to introduce these 3 tenses of the subjunctive to your students; many hours of work have gone into it. You will find, for each tense: uses and a lot of different examples formation irregular forms controlled practice exercises guided practice exercises freer practice exercises, catering for different abilities. You will also find links to independent online practice and combined tenses (e.g. presente de subjuntivo vs perfecto) activities in case you want to give your students a an extra chanllenge. Two worksheets inspired on the AQA A-level Spanish textbook, Unit 4 La Influencia de los Idolos, but which can be adapted to any textbook. Worksheet 1 contains 5 tweets / instagram posts posted by Hispanic celebrities which contain several grammatical errors, to be spotted by the students. Each post comes with a range of follow up questions based on their post to encourage students to talk in the target language. Great activity for speaking. Worksheet 2 contains a reading I created based on a youtube video with information on the most famous female youtuber in South America: Yuya. It offers follow up questions for discussion, grammar activities, comprehension activities and vocabulary exercises. Bundle also includes a short taboo game with Hispanic celebrities that the students need to describe trying to avoid the taboo words (they are given suggested keywords to support their descriptions).
