This is a resource I use for students that require Travel Training sessions. In order to develop transferable skills, students are required to plan journeys on public transport. This resource is a scenario where students can plan a trip to their local HMV store. You just need to add the appropriate info (street names etc.) for your local area! It gives advice to students of things they need to consider when planning their journey. It also encourages budgeting skills

This resource can be used for students studying English Literature. It is a 2 page worksheet, where students read the information provided about the War of the Worlds radio show and the alleged hysteria that followed. Students are required to answer 3 questions about the radio show, including: Why did people allegedly react so strongly to the radio show? You could also adapt the resource and add your own questions.

I use this resource for students completing the EDSQ Essential Digital Skills Qualification. ICT/IT tutors or learning support assistants can write a witness statement to provide evidence for students portfolios, when students have demonstrated practical ICT/IT skills for their EDSQ course.
