The first two parts of the activity asks pupils to sort a collection of items into those which are sources of light and those which are not. This resource is an extract from a larger National Museum Wales project that allows pupils to become a virtual marine scientist and explore the Bristol Channel The main activity here explores food chains and relationships in the channel, incorporating an interactive activity with a supporting lesson plan, worksheets, photos and videos. The full CD based resource contains four more interactive activities with lesson plans and additional resources, all available in English and Welsh.

This interactive resource is designed to extend pupils knowledge of Food Chains and feeding relationships. Pupils revise the terms 'Producer' and &'Consumer&';. A link is provided to a revision video for food chains. Pupils introduced to multiple food chains and shown how they can be produced more accurately as a web. Pupils encouraged to complete information based on food webs from the countryside and from a pond/river. Pupils finally produce their own food web based on a tropical rainforest ecosystem.

This resource uses animations and interactive activities to explain to pupils how sound can travel through all materials not just air and that some materials are better than others at conducting sound.
