GREAT for revision
PERFECT for exam practice
AMAZING to reduce long answer anxiety
From long answer to short answer questions, this will help students to organise and formulate their answer in a logical and structured fashion.
I have used this in the following ways:
working alone with a question on the board, allow time for student to work through the question, then present them with a mark scheme.
working in pairs with a different question each, they will work on their own question then, the students will coach their peer with the respective mark scheme.
In this resource you will find resources that will help students in their tasks for Unit 7 Biomechanics on the RQF specification.
Guide sheets for Task 1, 2, 3 (for students to understand how to structure their work)
For Task 1 there is an Excel spreadsheet for the teacher to enter sprint times for both 100m and 400m linear motion calculations
For task 1 student dicuss the aspects of linear motion, then analyse the differences in the calculations/charts of a 100m and 400m sprint.
These guide sheets and resources allow students to understand how to structure their assessments.
Teachers can use them to help with marking and highlight areas that have been completed or areas that require more detail.
They have proved to be very popular with students
These in particular are designed for the RQF sport and exercise sciences Unit 6 sports coaching.
Here you will get a guide sheet for task 1 and 2
Task 3 includes resources for the planning, delivery and the review
In here you will find the following resources.

This is an amazing resources which breaks down the entire unit into topic by topic knowledge. The whole unit is condensed into 2 A4 pages
Concentrating and following the key terms for Unit 2 Functional Anatomy, the students can use this as a quick reference to help them revise and learn all the concepts required for the exam. This is PERFECT FOR REVISION
A similar system is use with Wall Street Traders to make quick references to certain information and knowledge.

Designed to the BTEC Sport and Exercise Sciences 2016 specification from Pearson Edexcel Unit 2 to help students understand how to structure the long questions.
We use a number of previous exam questions and answer them by breaking each one down in to a structure that is preferred by the markers
Also included as a bonus is a ‘cheatsheet’ which allows students to work through each joint type and input the bones, movements, and planes, of which will help for the longer questions.
Please find other Unit 2 resources in my shop which have proven to produce great grades for my own students.

THIS IS A VERSION TO SUPPORT WORKING ONLINE OR IN THE CLASSROOM
PowerPoint of full unit
PDF fillable handbook that goes with ppt
The powerpoint presentation complements the booklet for the whole module leading the students to achieve success in the assessments
The feedback from students has been very positive as they like the booklets to help with completing their assignments. Its practical, its everything the teacher needs, but more importantly, it has been designed with input from the students and has kept the students at the forefront of this resource. Its got to be easy for the teacher and it MUST provide maximum benefit to the students.
This is the sports coaching unit sets for the BTEC NQF/RQF specification for sport and exercise sciences ONLINE EDITION
The handout has been designed to be used REMOTELY using a PDF fillable form so that students can work on the document at home while you deliver the session on zoom/teams etc
There are too many benefits to mention with this, and I am now in the process of developing the rest of my units into this format.
Whats included

Integrated tasks for students to collaborate with using breakout rooms
PDF fillable document to be emailed to students for lessons
BOTH PDF AND WORD DOCUMENTS INCLUDED
This is the Online Remote Edition which includes a fillable PDF document which can be emailed to students and they can fill the document in online while you deliver your online lesson using the powerpoint.
Within this resource is the entire unit for unit 7 Biomechanics in sport and exercise science.
It comes with a PowerPoint that directly follows all the unit specification
It also comes with an electron fillable PDF that accompanies the powerpoint which is also gapped for students to fill out.
There are a number of basic tasks within the work but it is easily editable for teachers to make their own.

A resource made up lots of questions from previous exams of the functional anatomy unit 2 on BTEC Pearson Edexcel.
Covers all learning aims and goes in order of all short questions then all long questions.
Includes the mark schemes so students can see how to answer the questions
We use this to get students to answer 5-10 questions after each lesson and go through the answers as a starter of the next lesson
This is a homework booklet which includes questions from previous exams for the Unit 1 Sport and Exercise Physiology module on BTEC Pearson Edexcel.
All Learning Aims are covered and the questions go in an order of:
short questions 2-3 markers
open questions 4-6 markers
extended open questions 8-14 markers
Also attached in the mark scheme to go with it.
I would give this out at the start of the year and have students complete 5-10 questions each week and go through the answers in the lesson as a starter exercise so they can see how the questions are answered
PowerPoint presentation for Unit 1 Sports and Exercise Physiology on the NQF/RQF specification for BTEC.
As a unit there is a lot of content to cover and this presentation includes all four topics.
A Responses of the body systems to a single sport or exercise session
B Fatigue and how the body recovers from exercise
C Adaptations of the body systems to exercise
D Environmental factors and sport and exercise performance
This resource has been meticulously designed and adapted from the BTEC Unit 1 revision book from Pearson. Credit goes to Fisher, Jones, O’Donnell, Richardson, Sutton, and Toward for the content, however I have designed these into a PowerPoint for those teaching this unit.
Please rate and comment if I could make any changes to improve it.
I have taken all the questions from previous Unit 1 Exercise Physiology RQF/NQF BTEC exams and put them all in a word document.
There are around 56 in total and I have removed any that were replicated
the mark scheme for each question is also attached
I use this for the students
to see what type of questions will come up
how the questions are structures
how the questions are answered
conduct a walk through in lesson with any hard areas

Includes:
Powerpoint for the WHOLE UNIT which is part teacher and part student lead with activities
Workbooklet for the WHOLE UNIT to perfectly accompany the powerpoint
All the work has been done yet teachers can tweak it to suit certain sports or make the slight adjustments to suit unit 8 on sport.
My plan was to get through my topics in good time. Next I plan to interleave the topics that need revisiting so we can go over them again but with tasks and quizzes opposed to teacher delivery.
The example provided is for a functional anatomy unit which has an exam in January.
It starts from early December but can be manipulated to suit all topics.
Step 1 - divide your unit in to four main areas and write them in the four square table on page 2
Step 2 - slot the topics from each square in to the related color codes on the unit outline
Step 3 - follow the order of delivery so that the students are getting varied content to help aid knowledge retention
In here you will find powerpoints and prezi’s and handouts for topics such as:
personality
motivation
aggression
arousal
stress
anxiety
leadership
social facilitation
group dynamics
social loafing
exercise environments
transtheoretical model
