This is a terms planning for a mixed ability class. I swapped lesson 6 to lesson 5, the broad beans took off and I was able to show the students germination. Students gently held the seeds, and discussed the small shoot and the roots, this helped consolidate their learning. The students then re-planted their seeds. I also had the pleasure of leading Forest Schools, students discovered habitats discussed food chains. Seeds should cost no more than a £1 Sunflower & Broad bean. Lessons include starters, hooks plus plenaries and may i say differentiation! A fab term learning was achieved :). ******This bundle includes 6 lessons with 24 resources - Happy Teaching

6 lessons based on habitats and food chains - this planning helped with assessment. Planted seeds in lesson 5 by lesson 6 the following week later I was able to show the students germination - swapped lesson 6 to lesson 5. The broad beans really took off, it help consolidate their learning.

Planning designed to teach students reading, writing and comprehension in a completely functional and meaningful style. Starter games are added into each lesson to include speaking and listening. Worksheets are designed in an assessment style to help prepare students for assessments and exams. Bundle includes 18 lessons, designed to rotate, two weeks reading, two weeks writing and Speaking and Listening starter games are incorporated into each lesson. I also created on the web my own word searches relating to the lesson. Type in google free word search and I recommend the word search generator, so simple to differentiate. I could not add my starter games (sorry) they are off Twinkl. The ideas are there, and games such as i went to the shop and bought… so simple yet engaging and fun, found interviews questions also to be fun, just write prompt cards. All planning and worksheets are easy to adapt, personalise and make it your own in seconds. I hope this helps save teachers time.

I designed this for a year 9 class of students in relation to the subject topic why we need rules. Great lesson and created some good debates. Useful videos are included. This PowerPoint is Dyslexia friendly.

This lesson explains the purpose of a C.V. I created this for a year 9 class. The lesson encourages discussion and writing based on skills the students have or want to improve. The lesson ends with students filling out their own C.V, I have included a easy C.V for students to begin to practice. Happy teaching, the PowerPoint is dyslexia friendly.

This lesson encourages students to think about skills required for job roles. There is an activity where students need to select a new form tutor by looking through 3 job application forms. The lesson includes students filling out a job application form. The plenary includes students reading out their skills section, finally with students explaining why the skills section is important to an employer. Differentiated resources are included. First and Then Board: Designed for children and young people on the spectrum. Laminate the board attach Velcro and the board will be more durable. The purpose of the board is to attach symbols to allow a person to understand what are doing now and then. The boards reduce anxiety.
