**Need help getting your students to understand how to create a eye-catching article ? Need an interesting topic that is relevant to todays learners? Look no further !! I have created this brilliant engaging Power Point which is Dyslexia friendly by using the theme of the Death Penalty. This is 'Lesson 1 of 3 that will build students skills so that by the end of lesson 3 they will be able to write a persuasive article while adding their own viewpoint. I use this resource for a mixed ability classes to engage the lower ability groups and inspire the higher ability students. On the slides I wanted to support students in developing their own opinion by exploring the topic of the death penalty . *To choose 1 side of an argument based on your viewpoint To develop/explain the set of points that support your viewpoint Pair work Class discussion I have created short interesting tasks that can be used as pairs work or individual to keep them all engaged, while being able to stretch and challenge the more able student. Need help getting your students to understand what Paper 2 English Language? Look no further !! You can use this Dyslexia Friendly resource as part of a lesson I have created a brilliant Dyslexia Friendly this lesson using the theme of Boxing, for Question 4 is to ’ Compare how the writers convey their different views on boxing’ This is 1 hour lesson for mixed ability groups. Both Source A and B are included as well as the powerpoint. The slides support students in helping them with Q4 exploring the writers viewpoints and using key quotes to help them explain the writers point of view. The objective is for student’s to read both Source A and Source B and then create a ‘PEEZE’ paragraph comparing different viewpoints of each writer. There are a selection of short interesting and interative tasks to keep students engaged. The objective is for student’s to read both Source A and Source B and then create a ‘PEEZE’ paragraph comparing different viewpoints of each writer. Key Quotes from Source A and from Source B have been included in the ‘Teacher Slide’ at the beginning to help you prepare for the lesson.
