his is a 10-15 minute assembly about vaccinations. It is not specifically about Covid 19 vaccinations but more about vaccinations in childhood and in general. However, it could easily be used to cover Covid-19 vaccinations as well. It is suitable for KS3-KS4 (Ages 11-18, Grades 6-13, Years 7-13) and was originally a year 9 tutor time PSHE session. It focuses on the key question, Why is getting vaccinated so important for public health? It covers: What vaccines are and why they are important 3 short downloaded videos that will never disappear about: WHO immunisation for all programme A world without vaccines How vaccines work It ends with a plenary discussion task There are no written activities just information and discussion. This fits into the new RSE and Health Curriculum, PSHE or Whole School assembly approach to Healthy Living.

This is a full lesson on the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It contains reading, written tasks, comprehension, discussion, a plenary quiz and extension activities. It was originally a 90 minute Year 8 lesson but could be shortened very easily or be used for KS2 or KS4.

This lesson contains a review about smoking with a quiz and a competition. This was originally part of a PSHE day on smoking for Year 7 but can be used from KS2 - KS4 (Ages 7-16) as a standalone lesson or part of another lesson about smoking. It discusses questions about the law, addiction and chemicals and ends with a competition task for pupils to complete.

This lesson pack is a fully resourced Ofsted ready lesson about different Christian beliefs about fertility treatment and the main different methods that exist. It includes a carousel activity so students can find out about the different methods themselves with information cards, a chart worksheet to complete, differentiated questions, a match up starter activity, a full lesson plan and powerpoint focusing on exam skills and extra knowledge. This was originally a KS4 lesson produced for an Ofsted visit and it was graded outstanding and well received with the students. This can also be adapted to be used as a standalone resource for Fertility Treatment as part of PSHE or RSE & Health Education. This is a 15 minute end of year assembly which could last up to 30 minutes. You can use the script if you need to narrate the PowerPoint or deliver it in-person. This assembly has some videos of hope embedded, some key points of the year, how to stay safe this summer and prepare for the upcoming year. This was originally a 15 minute assembly to Year 10 but can be used for any years from 7-13 (Ages 11-18). You can add some rewards on the end specific to your group or use just this to save yourself some time at the end of the year.

This lesson is to introduce the Philosophy Unit for Religious Studies OCR H573 or H173. It gives a good introduction into what Philosophy is, some key philosophers, important philosophical questions based on reality, discussion and written tasks and embedded videos. It includes the parts of the specification, an introduction to the topics covered and explores key elements of the course. You won’t need anything else to introduce the Philosophy unit at A Level. This was originally a Year 12 KS5 90 minute lesson but can easily be shortened or lengthened to be a 60 minute lesson to introduce Philosophy at KS3 or KS4. This is linked to the new RSE and Health Curriculum and the general PSHE curriculum but it can be used as a tutor time session or an assembly.

This is a 10-15 minute presentation about personal identity. It was originally a PSHE tutor time session for Year 7 but it is suitable for KS2-KS3 (Years 3 - 9 Ages 7-14). It covers what makes up an identity, gives students the opportunity to think about their own identity and includes a downloaded video so it will never disappear. There are no writing tasks, just discussion questions. It fits with the new RSHE or PSHE curriculum and is suitable for an assembly or whole school session.

This is a 10-15 minute tutor time session for PSHE which covers the definitions and an introduction to Prevent, Extremism, Radicalisation and Terrorism. It was originally for a Year 7 PSHE session for tutor time but is suitable for all of KS3 and KS4 and can be used as an introduction lesson to my other Extremism assembly resource which goes into more detail. This resource has two downloaded video clips so they will never disappear and contains discussion activities and no written activities. This is a great introduction to the terms used in PSHE or Citizenship for Extremism.

This is a 10-15 minute session about organ donation which links in with the RSE and Health Curriculum for Secondary Schools. It can be used for an assembly, a tutor time session, a whole school event or a PSHE lesson. It can easily be lengthened to last a lesson and has been used successfully with KS3, KS4 and KS5 (Years 7-13, Ages 11-18) however it is also suitable for Upper KS2. It contains definitions, information, downloaded videos about what it is and the transplant process. It has a quiz plenary to ensure pupils’ understanding.

This is a 10-15 minute assembly, PSHE or tutor time session about sustainability. It covers what sustainability is and how we can live in a more sustainable way. It includes two downloaded video clips so they will never disappear and relevant discussion activities. There are no written tasks although it can easily be adapted to writing tasks and a longer full lesson. It was originally for a Year 9 PSHE tutor time session but is suitable for KS3, KS4 and KS5 (Years 7-13, Ages 11-18).

This is a 15 minute assembly or tutor time session for KS3 -KS5 (Ages 11-18, Years 7-13) which tackles the issue of suicide. It was originally a Year 10 PSHE session for tutor time. It includes why people commit suicide, what are the warning signs and what support is available to support people considering suicide or people who want to help someone else who is having suicidal thoughts. There are three short downloaded videos so they will never disappear and contains discussion activities and no written tasks. It would be easy to lengthen this issue to an hour with this resource using longer debates and written activities. This fits into the new RSHE and the PSHE curriculum and can also be used as a safeguarding session or a one-off whole school assembly.

This is a 15 minute assembly or tutor time PSHE session about privilege in society. This was originally a tutor time session for PSHE but the extension tasks and videos can be used to make a whole lesson for Citizenship or PSHE. It covers which groups in UK society are privileged, two downloaded video clips that will never disappear, definitions and ways to not let privilege define our lives. It also includes two extension downloaded video clips that could be used to make it long enough for a whole lesson. This fits in with the new RSHE and PSHE curriculum and was very successful when used at school. It is suitable for KS3, KS4 & KS5, Ages 11-18, Years 7-13.
