The challenge
Kidderminster College serves approximately 1,000 students. Many of their learners are from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The college had initially used a paper-based method for managing safeguarding. There was a risk of losing or misfiling critical information with this process, and off-site staff would prefer to email in concerns meaning that tracking safeguarding issues became difficult and risked becoming inconsistent.
Kidderminster College trialled an in-house safeguarding system, before adopting another well-known safeguarding software. While these systems solved some issues, the team weren’t completely satisfied. They were hoping to find a more interactive system with a more intuitive, easy-to-use interface.
