Students, acting as concert promoters, will need to make decisions based on a number of possible scenarios to achieve a profit.
A fun activity, that is use to evaluate the understanding of students who have been learning about the area and perimeters of triangles and rectangles.
Would suit any age/year group who have covered this topic, and can be used as revision and to recap previous learning.
I have used it with different classes in secondary schools and in colleges and it always engages. You can offer small prizes to the winners, which adds a bit of competition into the activity.
The resource includes a slide with all the possible answers, from which the students have to choose 16 to fill a 4x4 game grid (If time is limited can use a 3x3 grid).
There are 35 bingo slides, which can be shuffled if you want to mix up the order. These slides show either triangles or rectangles with some dimensions. You can either then ask individual students for answers, or just ask the class.
