This set of activities focusing on the third and fourth chaptersf the book: ‘one step at a time: why students need to plan before they write’ and ‘first steps in planning: the single-paragraph outline.’ My own high-ability A-level English literature set have found this resource invaluable in helping them understand the writing process and improve their own writing across their A-levels.

I have used an OCR exam script 'look' and adapted it for this exam to get students used to the look and feel of the exam. I used exam questions set by OCR.
