Year 3 and 4 Spelling / Word List Booklet
This creates a very useful A5 booklet when it is double-sided and folded.
It has all the year 3 and 4 words in alphabetical order - with boxes next to them which can be used in various ways.
-These could be used at home or school to check the number of times the pupil has spelt each word correctly.
-The children could use the boxes to keep a track of how many times they have used the words in their written work. As we all know, the children can often get the spellings right in a test - but not in their work! This could help to address this issue and widen their written vocabulary.

Crossword Creator Year 3 and 4 Word List
This includes six separate 3-page activities.
Each one guides the children through the process of creating a crossword using words from the Year 3 and 4 list.
The children write a clue for each word or they could write a sentence with the word missing - perhaps including some of the letters.
A fun activity which will help the children to improve their spelling at the same time.

Easy Certificates
You just need to type the child’s name, what they received the reward for and your name. You can add a date (or anything else) if you like. You can also do a bit of ‘copying and pasting’ to speed things up a bit.
It is a 16 page document so there are enough for everyone in your class. They just need to be printed and cut in half to create A5 certificates.
The coloured text is automatic, but you can easily change this or the background if you wish.
It was created in Word 2013, but a Word 1997-2003 version is also included.

This gets the children to answer 'higher level' comprehension questions about the book and then gets them to put what they have learnt into practice. It is written is a lively (and sometimes rather silly) way to engage the children.
KS2 Reading Comprehension Top Tips
These two pages contain tips to help children get those few extra marks which could make all the difference! It focuses on common questions and easy strategies - so nothing that will scare the children too much. A useful sheet to remind the children of many of the things they hopefully already know.

Opening Paragraphs - Crime - Trial Version
Do you need a really good writing example to inspire your pupils?
This opening paragraph for creative writing sessions (or for homework) includes well structured sentences. It is ideal for Year 5 and 6 children - and KS3. The crime / mystery focus will engage writers and should initiate some good class discussions.
