I have been teaching Science for 12 years now and the last 11 have been in British International Schools in Mexico and Spain. I have been an IB Diploma examiner for the last 9 years. My specialism is Biology but I currently teach Biology up to IGCSE and KS3 Science. Most of my resources are EAL/ESL focussed as the majority of my pupils do not have English as a mother tongue. This is a resource that I made for my GCSE pupils to allow me to grade their lab reports on a 1 to 9 scale. It shows features of all parts of a lab report from 1 to 9 (aim, prediction, variables, diagram, method, results table and analysis, conclusion, evaluation. This scale is not specific to any exam board; I made it roughly based on old coursework and APP criteria. This should make marking quicker as it literally includes one sentence per grade.
