Practise time expressions and verbs relating to the internet with this series of differentiated worksheets. The exercises gradually develop from simple vocabulary matching to sentence building. There is a translation task from the TL where students are expected to guess the meaning of some words. A puzzle sheet (with answers) gives practice in understanding sentence structure while motivating students to do the task. There is also a grammar sheet on ER verbs. I have included a verb vocabulary grid to support learning. Also available: Planète Facebook (Part 1) - Studio book 3; Module 1 or both resources can be purchased together. The Imperfect Tense of AR, ER and IR Verbs (contrasted with Present and Preterite)

This is a great resource for your more able students. It clearly demonstrates how to form the Imperfect Tense of regular (and the 3 irregular) verbs in Spanish and it makes the meaning clear, too. In addition, the Present and Preterite Tenses are revisited and there are exercises which involve using these 2 tenses alongside the Imperfect Tense: 'I was doing ..... when .....' and 'I used to ..... but now I .....' There is an exercise on 'I only do, read, study' etc. using 'sólo' as well as an exercise on 'I no longer go, watch, read' etc. using 'ya no'. To differentiate effectively, I introduce the vocabulary which will be needed in the more difficult translation exercises prior to the task. There is 1 answer sheet so that students can mark their own work. The worksheets come in a 'tú' and an 'vd.' version. These worksheets have been meticulously designed and are at least as nicely presented as any resource you might buy from a respectable publisher. Please don't be put off by the preview image which at times looks distorted with text not fitting into boxes or lines missing from tables (due, I think, to the inclusion of tables/grids/text boxes); the actual resource looks professional in appearance when downloaded. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I wrote this resource to complement the AQA French Oxford coursebook but it could be used in conjunction with other GCSE coursebooks. The worksheets provide practice in: adjectival agreement comparative adjectives : plus … que, moins … que, aussi … que superlative adjectives reflexive verbs in the present tense negatives: ne … pas, ne … jamais, ne … plus The varied exercises have been well structured and differentiated to guide students through the challenges of French grammar and, hopefully, help them achieve a higher degree of accuracy in their writing and speaking. The 4 powerpoints include most of the worksheet exercises with answers, making it possible for you to demonstrate grammatical points, discuss pronunciation and mark work in class with your students.
